An international pharmaceutical company is advertising a vacancy for a Global Brand Manager. The company supplies medicines and medical devices across Europe and the US, making partners across 60 countries worldwide in the meantime. This is an exciting opportunity to work with and provide real expertise to a rapidly growing speciality pharmaceutical organisation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the optimisation of global marketing activities.
  • Collaborating on the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing plan that will:
    • Deliver against sales and marketing objectives within agreed budget.
    • Through cross-functional alignment with other business functions.
  • Fully understanding customer insights and how to use these to enhance marketing plans and to aid the success in Oncology and rare diseases.

Skills and Requirements:

  • University degree level or equivalent (Scientific/Business).
  • Experience of having worked in Renal Oncology and/or haematology - highly desirable.
  • Marketing experience in Oncology/Rare Diseases is preferable.
  • Proven track record in achieving marketing goals.
  • Previous experience as a pharmaceutical representative is desirable.
  • Campaign development from initiation to execution.
  • At least one full cycle of the strategic and tactical planning process.
  • Experience in managing branding, medical education and/or PR agencies.
  • Good understanding of how to interpret market intelligence and datasets (e.g. IMS) and to evaluate the effectiveness of the marketing intervention on the marketplace.
  • Oncology/Rare disease therapy area experience is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of effectiveness as a cross-functional team player and project leader who gets results.
  • Possess excellent organisational skills, good attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Evidence of producing materials in line with ABPI regulations.
  • Previous experience of managing the certification process for materials is essential - experience with Veeva PromoMats is desirable.
  • Previous experience of having worked in a small organisation is desirable.
  • An individual who will thrive in a challenging and rapidly evolving internal environment.
  • Previous experience at regional or global level is desirable.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, such as MS Office.
