Proclinical is seeking an External Manufacturing Logistics Coordinator to support operational logistics activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective transportation of materials while maintaining product quality and safety. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and transportation partners to streamline supply chain processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor shipments from storage sites to contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) in line with agreed logistics strategies and processes.
  • Prepare and manage shipment documentation.
  • Ensure all required licenses and permits are secured prior to shipment.
  • Resolve logistics issues with partners to ensure timely delivery of products at the expected quality.
  • Perform SAP transactions for the movement of vaccine-related materials between sites.
  • Gather inventory data for periodic reviews of vaccine-related materials.
  • Review and approve invoices from logistics suppliers.
  • Oversee and manage inventories of temperature loggers and thermal blankets.
  • Assist in developing shipping procedures and general shipment guidelines.
  • Provide input for operations and business review meetings with logistics suppliers.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Background in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred).
  • Experience in logistics operations, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a focus on cold chain logistics.
  • Knowledge of legal export-import requirements and shipping document preparation.
  • Familiarity with GMP materials management and global shipping processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with logistics suppliers and CMOs.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are advantageous.
