Proclinical is seeking a remote Engagement Manager to work with a leading pharmaceutical company.
Must be eligible to work or be a citizen in the US.
Job Responsibility:
- Build annual external communication plan - strategically identify and position opportunities to continue to build strong external presence.
- Build an internal communication plan aligned with streamlining objective.
- Maintain an evolving internal Medical Affairs editorial calendar and news flow- aligned to business priorities /launches; create and maintain a planning tool to support the key milestones, events, and activities.
- Delivering internal and external communications artifacts for each milestone within the news flow (e.g., working with agency partners, LT, video specialists to develop internal videos, blog posts, quote cards, emails on behalf of leaders etc)
- Planning and executing internal events such as town halls, Let's Talk sessions to drive strong Global-Regional-Local engagement and connection to culture.
- Briefing and liaising with client stakeholders to progress internal and external news flow and program deliverables.
- Writing internal and external communications for the medical leadership team to support internal and external social media posts and drive strong external presence on panels, working groups, committees.
- Ensuring content reviews are consistent with GSK Policy and establishing new ways of working within the Global Oncology TA communications and engagement program.
Skills and Requirements:
- 10 years' experience in employee communications and external scientific communications; including in digital / social capabilities, in consultancy and/or in house in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- A track-record working with senior decision-makers and a proven ability to influence business decisions and building strong external presence / partnerships.
- A recognized capability to build effective working relationships with senior medical leaders to build strong external scientific presence, establishing trust and credibility to external stakeholders (payers, healthcare decision makers, HCPs).
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to the style and tone established by the organization leadership.
- Be able to craft a story for presentations and events, as well as implement, e.g., in PowerPoint (with design agency support, as needed for larger audiences)
- Understand the complexities of a new and growing specialty medical organization within a large pharmaceutical company.
- Be both strategic and pragmatic in their thinking and approach, and work to high quality standards in delivery, aiming to exceed expectations and deliver according to agreed plans and timelines.
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work through ambiguity to get to clear action plans.
- Must be a self-starter with a proactive mindset.

- Be organized, responsive.
- Be comfortable undertaking day to day executional activity and driving projects to completion.
