Proclinical is seeking to hire a Director/Senior Director of Clinical Operations located in San Francisco, CA. In this role, you will oversee the execution of clinical trials, including successful management of internal team members and CROs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overall leadership oversight of Clinical Operations team members, CROs, and other service providers
- Oversees selection, contracting, and budget-related activities for vendors and clinical trial sites
- Oversees performance of Clinical Operations team members and vendors for outsourced functions
- Provides strategic, tactical, and operational input to cross functional team
- Translates development goals into relevant, tangible, and measurable objectives for the clinical operations team and drives optimal delivery
- Oversees and coordinates all budgetary activities for assigned programs including project budget creation, forecasting, accruals reporting and invoice approval
- Engages key stakeholders to ensure expectations of clinical operations are being met or exceeded
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum BA/BS in scientific or health-related field
- Minimum of 10 years of Clinical Operations experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry working in oncology, preferably with cell therapy experience
- Strong working knowledgeable of GCP/ICH guidelines
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and lead a team in a fast-paced, small company setting
- Experienced using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Commitment to integrity and always doing what's right
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Produces top-quality work with little oversight
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Direct and candid, willing to challenge the status quo
- Able to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues
