Proclinical are seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead and oversee clinical trials and operations within an esteemed Rare Disease specialist biotech. The client's mission is to develop and commercialise life-changing treatments for individuals affected by rare and ultra-rare genetic diseases. With a robust clinical pipeline spanning various therapeutic areas, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

This is a 12-month contract role, home-based in Switzerland. Candidates must already be based in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Trial Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of clinical trials, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement clinical operations strategies aligned with the company's mission and objectives.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs, to drive successful clinical programs.
Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively to support clinical trial activities.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and contribute to the preparation of regulatory filings.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in clinical operations within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Strong understanding of rare disease clinical development.
Excellent leadership and project management skills.
Regulatory knowledge and experience in IND and NDA filings is highly desirable.
Based in Switzerland.
