Director Clinical Operations - Homebased

Proclinical are recruiting for a Director Clinical Operations - Global Medical Affairs (Phase IV studies) - Home Based EU/UK/CHF to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis with the ability to work remotely from anywhere in Europe such as Switzerland, Germany France and the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange the evaluation committees for investigator sponsored studies and collaborative research programs and assist the medical director chairing the evaluation committees.
• You will develop and advance IIT/ISR tracking systems to produce oversight for international shareholders.
• Support with initiating study clinical start-up processes for new investigator-initiated and the company's sponsored phase ii-iv clinical trials as needed per study protocol.
• Participate in the development of the integrated evidence generation plans.
• Offer technical and operational leadership, which will involve accountability for budget and resource management.
• Responsible for management and budget follow up.
• Uphold knowledge across pertinent disease areas, partaking in the comprehension of present and evolving clinical and scientific paradigms and the implementation of clinical trials.
• Other duties to be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a life science or medical discipline with demonstrable experience relating to oncology and clinical operations/project management.
• Familiarity in a leading investigator-initiated study and collaborative research programs.
• Project management abilities.
• Leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Able to think tactically and critically with the ability to resolve issues and make decisions.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Encourages a culture of scientific excellence with the ability to work well in a team.
• Willing to travel for business needs up to 15-50% of the time.
