Cyber Security Architect

Proclinical are recruiting a Cyber Security Architect for a Swiss pharmaceutical business on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company located in Basel. The client is focused on various therapeutic areas to produce high quality remedies.

Responsibilities:

• Execute, develop, and operationally handle adherence to the security reference architecture.
• Recognise and instigate execution of modern resolutions to acknowledge developing cyber threats and meet business requirements with cloud adoption leveraging Zero Trust and SASE.
• To form security into current or new IT systems such as business applications which involves SAP, IT infrastructure clous systems which involves MS Office 365, you will plan and execute a security architecture framework such as regulations, technology reference models, guidelines, etc.
• In collaboration with the IT infrastructure organisation, you will evolve and sustain security technologies architecture road maps.
• To enable IT security architecture developments, you will assist the team members on planning and consistently developing security education training awareness program (SETA) on mechanisms.
• The ideal candidate will manage operational cyber security architecture evaluations and documentation of security needs in IT and business projects to execute a "security by design" systems method for developed/hosted and cloud solutions which involves RFP/RFI assistance on an internal basis.
• Handle planning, executing identity, authenticating, and access management such as technology, process, teams, which involves advantaged access management in a product team arrangement.

Skills & Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in an information security, IT, or similar discipline, or educated to an advanced degree in an information security linked field would be beneficial for the role.
• Certified in CISSP-ISSAP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, TOGAF, or SABSA would be advantageous.
• At least 4+ years of experience in security architecture.
• Familiarity working with security and infrastructure technologies, for example: Cisco Duo, ISE, Umbrella, Secure End Point and NetFlow; Netwrix, Microsoft Office 365 Security, NG Firewalls/ IDPs, DER/EPP, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, and Secure Coding.
• Communication skills both verbally and written to elaborate why security is a business enabler.
• GXP, CSV and pharmaceutical organisation connected guidelines know-how.
• Fluency in the English and German language.
• Capable of giving presentations and training, as well as manage relations, consultations and deliberations.
• A high capacity of personal veracity with the ability to handle issues in a professional manner.
• Able to operate within a matrix and geographically dispersed environment.
