Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Associate to join a globally recognised Clinical Research Organisation. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in clinical monitoring and is passionate about ensuring clinical trials are conducted in accordance with approved protocols and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and coordinate all aspects of the clinical monitoring and site management process.
- Conduct remote or on-site visits to assess protocol and regulatory compliance and manage required documentation.
- Ensure audit readiness and develop collaborative relationships with investigative sites.
- Monitor sites with a risk-based monitoring approach, applying root cause analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure data accuracy through on-site and remote monitoring activities.
- Document observations in reports and letters in a timely manner using approved business writing standards.
- Maintain regular contact between monitoring visits with investigative sites to confirm protocol adherence.
- Participate in the investigator payment process and investigator meetings as necessary.
- Ensure study systems are updated per agreed study conventions.
- Respond to company, client, and applicable regulatory requirements/audits/inspections.
- Contribute to other project work and initiatives for process improvement, as required.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field or another similar field, or a nursing certification or equivalent.
- Appropriate academic or vocational certification is a necessity.
- Proven knowledge of medical area knowledge and medical terminology.
- Excellent understanding and demonstrated application of ICH GCPs, applicable regulations, and procedural documents.
- Well-developed critical thinking skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with medical personnel.
- Strong attention to detail and effective organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team or independently as required.
- Good computer skills; proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn appropriate software.
- Valid driver's license and full right to work in the UK.
- Fluency in English language with good presentation skills.
