Clinician Support Agent - Contract - Remote US
Looking to play a key role in connecting technicians and healthcare professionals to support better patient outcomes?
Proclinical is seeking a Clinician Support Agent to provide essential communication and support between cardiac technicians and external healthcare accounts, including hospitals and clinicians.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role focuses on ensuring effective communication of ECG abnormalities, managing clinical case information, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and prior experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with EKG interpretation.
- Technical skills in case management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with professionalism in challenging situations.
- Independent thinking, sound judgment, and solution-oriented approach.

The Clinician Support Agent's responsibilities will be:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between cardiac technicians and external accounts.
- Communicate ECG abnormalities following physician notification protocols and notify clinical personnel as required.
- Perform follow-ups to gather additional clinical information, such as pacemaker settings and clinician contact details.
- Utilize case management systems to respond, act, and update case statuses effectively.
- Verify and process notification criteria, ensuring completeness of reports.
- Foster collaboration with internal teams and external customers, including hospitals and clinicians.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics related to productivity and case quality.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and Good Clinical Practices.
- Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
