Clinical Scientist - Contract - REMOTE (Durham, NC)

Play a key role in delivering high‑quality clinical studies that drive progress in haematology.

Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Scientist to support clinical development activities within the haematology and pharmaceutical space. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and proactive management of clinical data, safety, and protocol deviations.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will focus on the effective execution of clinical studies, ensuring timely delivery of quality protocols and trial outcomes.

Skills & Requirements:

Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Educational background in life sciences or related field (BA/BS, MS, or advanced degree).
Relevant experience in clinical research and development within the biopharmaceutical industry.

The Clinical Scientist's responsibilities will be:

Develop and deliver high-quality clinical trial protocols.
Oversee the execution of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Collaborate with clinical operations and other functional teams to ensure smooth study execution.
Review clinical data, safety reports, and protocol deviations to mitigate risks and address emerging issues.
Support the interpretation and communication of clinical trial data.
Maintain diligent oversight of trial progress and proactively address challenges.
