Proclinical are recruiting for a Chief Information Security Officer to join an organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Basel.

Responsibilities:

Accountable for the definition, execution and constant development of the IT security method, observe trends and threats both in the setting and in the organisation and derive required measures from them.
Accountable for the information security management system, help design the IT security architecture and guarantee the provision of modern infrastructure and software solution.
Assess projects focusing on information security and contribute to the development of new IT solutions.
You will carry out risk analysis, examine and resolve security incidents.
Arrange and supervise numerous training and prevention campaigns, guaranteeing the required awareness among staff.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Educated to a degree level in a scientific field, with an MAS in information security or a certification in information security such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.
Demonstrable experience working within information security.
Know-how of programming and system administration.
Expertise in the following: DNS, routing, authentication, VPN, proxy services and DDoS defense, programming techniques, ethical hacking, threat modelling and analysis, firewalls and intrusion detection and prevention protocols.
Fluency in German, French and English.
