Proclinical are recruiting for a Key Account Manager focusing on bioprocessing to join a medical technology and devices organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Tokyo with the ability to work remotely. The client is focused on guaranteeing innovative scientific findings can be translated swiftly into efficient patient care.


  • Handle and form solid customer relations for long term collaboration.
  • You will promote the organisation products and services in an allocated geographic area, product range or key account to accomplish sales and revenue targets.
  • Recognise new business prospects in line with the company's general market and growth method.
  • Examine and analyse customer requirements, produce leads, respond to customer inquiries and suggest products and services when suitable.
  • On occasion, review the prospective of each customer and plan to realise it into business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to produce higher market perception and successful methods to attain business from an account.
  • Arrange and contribute to marketing actions in allocated location.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a life science or engineer field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in field sales, ideally with lab/bioprocess-based familiarity.
  • Works well in a team.
  • Fluency in the Japanese language with knowledge in English.
