Proclinical are recruiting an Automation Engineer for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a contract basis and is located in Visp.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and modify recipes under change control throughout the start-up, qualification and production phase and contribute to risk and process aberration analysis.
Guarantee that the cGMP-compliant documentation such as eBR; SOP; operating regulations, etc. in collaboration with the Bioprocess engineer, Plant Lead and with MSAT.
Assist and align the product and manufacturing specific needs in collaboration with the accountable plant team as well as with the international and local engineering team.
Throughout the water batch, before starting the production phase, you will supervise the functionality of the automated production process and corrective aberrations.
You will consistently improve processes and procedures in compliance with the safety, hygiene, environmental and quality needs within field of responsibility.
Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Educated with the degree level in a pertinent engineering field.
Knowledge of bioprocess automation such as DeltaV or Emerson MES Syncade.
At least 3 - 5 years of experience with troubleshooting.
Identify risks in correlation with security or compliance.
Know-how of GGMP.
A structured and focused individual with a solid work ethic.
An organised individual with the ability to resolve issues as well as be open minded.
Works well in a team.
Computer literacy.
Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
A responsible individual.
Fluency in the English language.
