Automation Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Automation Engineer to join our highly motivated, multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the integration and support of various control systems in the automation area. You will have the opportunity to actively shape our processes, support the planning, implementation, and validation of SIEMENS control systems, and ensure the availability of the systems in your area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, implementation, and validation of SIEMENS control systems, adhering to applicable laws and guidelines.
• Independently review cGMP-relevant documents and create documents in your area of responsibility.
• Participate in the commissioning and qualification activities of the associated GMP-relevant systems.
• Ensure the availability of the systems in your area of responsibility.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from all the specialist departments involved.
• Contribute to the GMP-compliant operation of the new biotech system.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical or automation engineering or a comparable field.
• Familiarity with automation systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ideally in a large-scale, biotechnological, multi-product facility.
• Practical experience in operating a highly automated production system in the biopharmaceutical environment.
• Extensive knowledge of dealing with automation solutions from Siemens (e.g. PCS7, Step 7, WinnCC, etc.).
• Very good knowledge of the applicable national and international laws and guidelines in the cGMP area with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work well in a team and take on new challenges.
