Proclinical is currently partnered with a leading healthcare PR agency with a truly fabulous reputation. The agency is part of a larger network, but still has an individual feel whilst benefitting from the resources and stability their parent brings.

They are currently working with some of the most high-profile pharmaceutical clients out there, so this is an opportunity to work on some really exciting and important accounts.

About the position:

The agency currently has three openings at this level, working across 3 of their global pharmaceutical clients. These are high level positions, so instead of spreading your time across multiple clients, you will dedicate your time on just one of these super important clients, able to get into the nitty-gritty of their work.

The agency aim to build out teams based on peoples strengths and interests, meaning that if you are successful, you will be able to interview for all 3 positions / accounts and have the option to work on the one that most interests you!

These roles have come about due to new business - the agency grew by 30% in 2021 and 2022, and by another 10% last year, meaning they have doubled in size in the last 3 years - this is all testament to the amazing work they have been doing!

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Must have pharmaceutical PR agency experience.
  • Must have experience working on global campaigns for pharmaceutical clients.
  • Data and regulatory communications experience is strongly desired.
  • Great knowledge of pharma industry and its regulations.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure, use own initiative.
  • Financial management skills - budgeting, resourcing, and divisional finance.
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Commercial acumen.

The Associate Director will:

  • Work across the full spectrum of pharmaceutical PR, with particular emphasis on data and regulatory communications.
  • Develop and drive strategy and oversee client management.
  • Ensure profitability of accounts and drive organic growth.
  • Help with forecasting and financial planning.
  • Develop high performing teams to deliver excellence.
  • Act as a key strategic advisor to clients, advising on the optimum communications strategy.
  • Motivate and develop team members by providing support and guidance.
  • Identify skills and knowledge gaps across the team and suggest training solutions.
