Associate Director - Permanent - Onsite

Proclinical is seeking an Associate Director, Global Hematology Marketing to join a global biopharmaceutical company. This is a permanent role located in Gaithersburg, MD.

Primary Responsibilities

This role, reporting into the Global Commercial Head for the Hematology Franchise, helps lead the implementation of the global strategic brand plans for Hematology across indications. This role works collaboratively key global country and regional leads based in the US, Europe, Asia as well as wide range of headquarter functions including Marketing, Global Analytics & Insights (GA&I), Digital, Pricing and Market Access, Global Medical Affairs (GMA), Regulatory affairs, R&D, Product development, and others.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Science subject
  • Experience in Oncology marketing with Global launch experience preferred
  • Broad global commercial experience including pre-launch and launch
  • Proven experience and knowledge of a broad base of external customers including patients, prescribers, payers, and providers
  • Demonstrated use of insights to deliver effective strategy
  • Evidence of developing compelling business cases
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy
  • Experience in Hematology
  • Strong clinical acumen and scientific mind-set
  • Business Insights experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.

The Associate Director will:

  • Drive brand strategy implementation, and execution of key global commercial deliverables
  • Support ongoing insights development as a key partner to GA&I and engage with experts, community HCPs and patient groups. Shape and apply insights to brand strategy and implementation
  • Develop and lead HCP marketing strategies and deliverables in partnership with markets, shaping and advancing plans for optimizing the HCP experience, including peer-to-peer activities
  • Develop compelling business cases behind opportunities for the brand
