Associate Director/Director Biostatistics - Oncology

Proclinical is seeking an Associate Director/Director of Biostatistics focusing on Oncology to lead projects within clinical development, providing statistical support and scientific leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and scientific validity of clinical development plans and studies. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective resource management.

This position holds a fully remote working model based within Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects or indications in clinical development with minimal supervision.
• Provide statistical support and scientific leadership for assigned projects.
• Ensure statistical aspects of clinical development plans and studies are of high quality and scientifically valid.
• Mentor team members and promote teamwork, quality, and innovation.
• Plan and track project activities, timelines, and resources efficiently.
• Collaborate productively with other functions and communicate with senior leadership.
• Represent statistics in cross-functional working groups and contribute to process optimization.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques.
• Proficiency in statistical analyses using SAS or R.
• Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
