Associate Director Biostatistics - Rare Diseases

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Statistical Project Leader in Biostatistics. This role is pivotal in leading clinical development projects, providing statistical support and fostering a productive work environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, leverage cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the transformation of medical practice through data and digital technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead one or more indications or projects in a Therapeutic Area.
• Provide statistical support and scientific leadership for responsible projects.
• Ensure all projects and work is in compliance with SOPs and departmental standards.
• Arrange and assess project activities, timelines and resource use.
• Foster productive collaborations with other functions in the aligned project team.
• Represent statistics in cross-function working groups and contribute to operation process optimisation.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• PhD/MS in statistics or another related field.
• Proficiency in advanced statistical concepts and techniques.
• Expertise in statistical analyses. Knowledge of the use of SAS or R is beneficial also.
• Strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
