Associate CTSM - Contract - Rochester, NY
Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician for the role of Associate CTSM.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role focuses on handling and distributing specimens, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and ensuring compliance with various regulations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working under varying temperature conditions and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.
Skills & Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences or another related field.
- Proficiency with email and basic computer programs.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods while working.
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds.
The Associate CTSM's responsibilities will be:
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures, particularly those preventing the risk of blood and bodily fluid exposure.
- Distribute specimens to the appropriate department for analysis as needed.
- Ensure client satisfaction by providing exceptional service to internal customers.
- Handle shipping packages, including opening and sorting items.
- Enter receipt information into the ACM system.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Monitor and document daily maintenance functions, such as specimen rotation and temperature documentation.
- Comply with all relevant regulations, including those from the FDA, New York State Department of Health, Good Clinical Practice, and International Air Transport Association.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
