Analytical QC Chemist

Proclinical are recruiting for an Analytical QC Chemist to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Support the training of the analysts within the areas of knowledge and in new strategies, SOPs and updates.
• Trend such outcomes, record on COA's where necessary and accomplish OOS's investigations on a timely basis.
• Offer analytical chemistry services and assist on Site.
• Uphold, update and issue chemical strategies, specifications and SOP's in compliance to pharmacopeial and regulatory needs.
• You will keep up to date in the QC team leader on possible issues and highlight improvements where possible by use of the normal communication means.
• Guarantee that crucial chemical testing and linked equipment meets present validation needs such as IQ, OQ, PQ, etc., where necessary.
• The ideal candidate will audit and evaluate chemistry test outcomes on a daily basis and ensure compliance with cGLP.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Educated to a degree level in a scientific field such as chemistry or biochemistry.

Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing setting.
