A leading multinational biopharmaceutical company with leading therapies in autoimmune diseases and oncology is currently recruiting for a CW Scientific Communications Manager. They are seeking an individual to bring solid communications experience their team at their offices Cambridge This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the world's biggest biotechnology firms that employs over 17,000 staff globally.

The Oncology Medical Communications Manager plans, develops and delivers local Medical Communication programmes, events, and tools for the company's Oncology products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivery of science-based Medical Communications activities as a component of medical/brand teams based on local / regional strategies and team priorities.
  • Ensuring close cooperation with European HQ Medical Communications and Scientific Publications Group.
  • Partnering and close cooperation with Cross Functional Brand Team members, including Medical Information, other Scientific Affairs, Medical, and commercial.
  • Review of non-promotional and promotional materials as per ABPI code and SOPs.
  • Contributing to Medical Communications best practice development.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Scientific, pharmacy, or medical degree.
  • Proven Medical Communications experience in Oncology.
  • Experience in the development and delivery of symposia/educational programmes and medical-scientific tools, such as slide decks.
  • Experience in Scientific Affairs (such as MedInfo, RML, Medical Writing) and /or Clinical Development.
  • Experience with interpretation and communication of medical/scientific data.
  • Academic publication and presentation track record.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
