An international research company is advertising a vacancy for a Technical Sales Specialist, based in North-West Germany. The organisation helps customers accelerate life sciences research, solve complex analytical challenges, improve patient diagnostics, deliver medicines to market, and increase laboratory productivity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a business plan to meet or exceed the commercial objectives agreed with the commercial management of the territory.
  • Work closely with Sales Representatives and the District Director of DNA Analysis as needed, to plan accounts and create new potential clients through workflow solutions.
  • Consistently and accurately manage sales processes, including sales forecasts, portfolio management and sales tracking through the Seibel system and other dedicated IT tools.
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge of next-generation sequencing procurement markets, products and purchasing practices required for effective market competitiveness.
  • Use products and applications to carry out strategic presentations and sales consulting.
  • Understand the objectives, priorities and challenges of customers so that the company's solutions are best placed to meet the needs of customers.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Holder of a higher scientific degree (Master 2, engineer, doctorate ...).
  • More than 5 years of technical and commercial experience in the life sciences.
  • In-depth knowledge of sequencing technologies (including NGS) Knowledge of accounts in the territory is an asset. Location: In remote with regular trips.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
