Taiwan/Korea APAC Legal Counsel

Proclinical is advertising a vacancy for an APAC Legal Counsel position with a leading full-service global Contract Research Organisation (CRO) who specialise in predictable patient enrolment across multiple therapeutic areas. The company, which is known throughout the industry for their non-nonsense, time-focused approach to patient enrolment and project delivery, is seeking for the Legal Counsel to join their office in Taiwan.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating clinical trial agreements and other contracts.
• Drafting and reviewing corporate documents.
• Advising on employment and data protection matters.
• Assisting in building up company offices in Taipei, Seoul, China, and Hong Kong.
• Providing legal advice and support within the legal department and to other company departments.
• Developing, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and instructions related to legal matters and/or pertaining to the legal department.
• Drafting and executing employment agreements.
• Identifying and research various legal matters and assessing the impact on company business.

Skills and Requirements:

• A University Degree in Law.
• Excellent knowledge of Contract Law.
• At least 5 years of legal experience in an international commercial practice.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
• Expertise and experience in contract drafting and negotiation.

• Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
• Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
• Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
• Mid-Senior Level.
