Sr. Global Travel Manager

Proclinical, in support of a growing pharma company, are seeking an individual to fill the role of Senior Global Travel Manager, based in Foster City, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end execution and management of the global travel program.

Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate travel supplier contracts.
• Select properties, negotiate contracts and manage outsource support for the Global Hotel Program.
• Manage the planning and launch of Global Car Rental RFx's, leading supplier price and contract negotiations.
• Leading global travel projects including the launch of new TMC service centers, and country-level OBT launches.
• Monitor TMC performance, service levels and OBT optimization.
• Lead M&A activity, making business recommendations on travel program and project activities.
• Recommend and drive service enhancements in line with business goals and objectives.
• Business partner engagement and development of stakeholder relationships.
• Optimize supplier partnerships to drive key business results.
• Prioritize initiatives based on opportunity defined by engagement criteria.

Skills And Qualifications

• Relevant BA or equivalent and 5+ years of managing a corporate travel program, as well as 5+ years of relevant procurement/strategic sourcing experience.
• Strong experience and industry knowledge of travel and supplier management.
• Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as a strong command of written and spoken English.
