My Client, a cutting edge Medical Device company based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, now has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer for a 6-12 month initial contract with a likelihood of extension. The rate for this position is $55-75 per hour.
My client is a world renowned medical device company and is consistently at the forefront of medical innovation. This innovative company is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to systemize the supplier quality inspections, practices and protocols which will have a significant impact on patient outcomes. This project is business critical and has visibility up to the CEO level!
The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer will be creating a uniform approach and standard to supplier quality across multiple medical device parts. This is a large scale project that is at the cutting-edge of thought leadership and innovation for supplier quality within Life Sciences.
Required Skills/Experience:

5-8 years of experience in the Medical Device OR Automotive industry
BA of Engineering or related field
PFMEA knowledge
Experience creating a supplier quality process
Experience developing control and inspection plans
Experience in a customer, supplier or client facing role
Knowledge of flow charts
Strong Communicator
Driven and proactive when working internally as well as with suppliers
