Proclinical are recruiting on behalf of a leading contract research organisation who have a vacancy for a Senior Project Manager. In this job, you will be working at a company that is at the forefront of drug development and has helped to commercialise many leading therapies. This London-based role will see the Senior Project Manager focus on clinical study and project productivity.

Job Responsibilities:

Managing clinical project teams, and being responsible for clinical study and project productivity.
Participating in bid defence preparations, with the opportunity to lead bid defence presentations with the company's Business Development teams for multi-region/country studies.
Developing the delivery strategy for RFPs.
Serving as the primary project contact with company sponsors to ensure communication is maintained and continuously improved.
Providing input to line managers of their project team member's performance relative to project tasks and supporting staff development.
Mentoring less experienced CPMs. This will also include co-monitoring/accompanied site visits and ongoing mentoring of the CRA team.
Leading problem solving and resolution efforts to include management of risk, contingencies and issues. Developing proactive contingency plans to mitigate clinical risk.
Preparing and presenting project information at internal and external meetings.

Skills and Requirements:

Previous experience with bid defence and Senior Project Management.
Thorough knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, and global clinical development processes.
Demonstrable experience of managing cross-functional project teams, along with demonstrable leadership, presentation and diplomacy skills.
A proven ability to work independently in a complex matrix environment.
