Proclinical is currently advertising on behalf of a large global biotechnology company working within the fields of neurodegenerative diseases, haemophilia and autoimmune disorders. The company is seeking a Senior Product Manager in Neurology to join their team in Munich.

The position holder is expected to act within the MS-Portfolio team at all times and motivate and support all extended team members.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implementing country portfolio strategies, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
  • Supporting the development of portfolio marketing strategy and coordinating the portfolio marketing activities in the country.
  • Driving and ensuring local adaption to MS portfolio company branding.
  • Developing close relationships and projects with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Driving market expansion in alignment with country strategy.
  • Driving the portfolio management and branding.
  • Closely collaborating with Product PR and Medical.
  • Closely collaborating with sales and effectively work out new strategies and actives with the sales team, along with training the SF.
  • Recognising, documenting, and reporting adverse events and technical product complaints to Drug Safety Germany, or the responsible service centre according to local SOPs.
  • Collaborating with the Brand Team, and supporting a 3 year strategic plan/Brand Plan, including forecasting in alignment with Global Strategy. Implementing everything in accordance with the local rules for marketing and all in alignment with country strategy.
  • Giving marketing support to the sale organisation, passing on feedback from the rest of the organisation and taking an active role in sharing best practice between markets, functions and products.
  • Tactfully strategizing through campaigns, marketing material, national projects, PR and Marketing Access projects. This includes verifying and adopting CME events strategy, coordinating events at congresses and other meetings, along with collaborating with other departments on specific projects.
  • Taking responsibility for competitor intelligence and gathering and spreading information regarding competitors to your product.
  • Product budgeting (marketing).

Skills and Requirements:

  • An academic degree, bachelor or above.
  • Preferably at least 2 years of Pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • At least 3 years of Pharmaceutical brand management experiences, preferably in the Neurology/CNS area.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • An ability to drive projects involving several internal and external stakeholders.
  • Consistent track record of success.
  • Good written, oral, presentation and communication skills.
  • An ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Fluency in English and German.
