Proclinical is working with a global healthcare company, who is seeking a Medical Information Officer to build and maintain an efficient and compliant Global Medical Information Function at their site in Uxbridge. This role will be based in West London on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibitlies:

  • Work cross-functionally to meet business objectives, supporting production of core materials, frequently asked question, standard responses and attending brand team meetings
  • Oversight and support to the Medical Information service provider;
  • Preparation and analysis of the Medical information reports as well as KPIs for the MI system performance
  • Act as a therapy area expert, providing second line support for affiliates globally; provide a back-up cover and respond to 1st line enquiries when required for UK and Ireland
  • Support Marketing and Medical Affairs through thorough copy approval and reference checking for core marketing materials.
  • Preparing global core training materials and presentations on products, competitors and therapy areas. Delivery of scientific and technical training, where appropriate, to Sales Forces and other staff.
  • Responding to medical information queries from the Global Country Affiliates and also direct requests from HCPs / consumers across UK & Ireland
  • Preparation of the procedural documents for the Medical Information activities

Skills and Requirements:

  • Graduate level education in life science or pharmacy essential
  • At least 3 years' experience in Medical information in a pharmaceutical company
  • Experience in Women's Health is an advantage
  • Good understanding of the ABPI code is an advantage
  • Proven Copy Approval Experience.
  • Ability to work in an environment of rapidly changing priorities and workload; ability to manage multiple activities and assignments
  • Ability to work both as a member of a team and in an independent, self-directed manner
  • Ability to manage and organise work to meet timelines and to meet the attention of detail required to successfully complete assignments
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and oral)
  • Ability to effectively interact within the multi-national company
