A leading US biopharmaceutical organisation with a solid commercial portfolio of life-saving drugs within a number of therapy areas have a new Senior Manager - Market Access job opportunity at their offices Greater London. The company has a growing pipeline of investigational drugs and approximately 5,000 employees in offices across four continents.
Job Responsibilities:
- This position will perform a wide variety of activities in support of the Market Access Excellence (MAEX) area at EMEA Headquarters, which covers Europe, Middle East and Australia.
- The MAEX area is accountable all the process, governance, and activities that go across therapeutic area: operational pricing, publications, capabilities & development, payer engagement, etc.
- The activities to perform include (but are not limited to) managing projects/tasks that require gathering, reviewing, and analysing data impacting the EMEA organization.
- Many of these tasks will require extensive relationship and collaboration across functions (Commercial, Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, etc.), both EMEA HQ and WW HQ, and with affiliates.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must have demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects and priorities. Must have the ability to conduct analysis and use complex analytical tools.
- Strong strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute strategy.
- Excellent analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and understand complex issues and problems, and interpret information in a manner that provides appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas.
- Organizational skill, including ability to follow assignments through to completion (bias towards execution).
- Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in order to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among a variety of groups and audiences.
- 3+ years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related fields is required
- MBA or an advanced business degree is desirable
- In-depth knowledge and skill with SharePoint and MSFT Office
- Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, commercial policies and practices
- Therapeutic area knowledge preferred
- Skilled in spoken and written in Spanish or Italian is a plus Travel/Location
- 10% of travel required
