A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Manager Legal Commercial and Procurement in Switzerland. In this role you will be expected to negotiate manufacturing and supply agreements, be the main point of contact for all things legal.

Job Responsibilities

  • Negotiation and finalization of Manufacturing & Supply contracts/agreements
  • Ensure compliance with Company standards and internal regulations
  • Main point of contact with the Global Legal teams in FK (EU, US, CN…)
  • Price negotiations with contract manufacturers, ensuring profitability of the purchased products
  • Responsible of Contract maintenance for all contract manufacturers including timely negotiation of amendments, contract renewals and terminations
  • Responsible for processing commercial complaints for all contract manufacturers that involves/requires legal documentation
  • Responsible for SOPs/Guiding documents in the field
  • Responsible for data archiving in the area
  • Accountable for Supplier Evaluation and timely communication on the results of the supplier evaluation and, if necessary, the definition of measures to improve cooperation
  • Support the development of strategic partnerships
  • Preparation of decision templates, contract term sheets and meeting documents
  • Support the scout for new contract manufacturers
  • Support maintenance of the knowledge database for contract manufacturers
  • Support for projects such as product launches, product transfers, etc. (commercial side)
  • Promote continuous improvement of area of responsibility, development of concepts for optimal processes and price situations

Qualification and Experience:

  • LLB / Commercial education / Business studies
  • Contract Law
  • >7 years of work experience in Pharmaceutical Industry
  • 3-5 years in advanced commercial negotiation
  • Strong knowledge of international trade
  • Knowledge of Regulatory process landscape for pharmaceutical goods in EU, USA & other geographies
  • Knowledge of GMP, GDP and related regulations
  • Project Management
  • MS Office proficiency
  • P2P processes
  • Full proficiency in English
