A leading medical technology company is advertising a vacancy for a Senior Key Account Manager position. The organisation offers innovative products and services in Orthopaedics, Medical and Surgical, and Neurotechnology and Spine that improve patient and hospital outcomes. Based in southern Germany, this vacancy is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that is dedicated to improving the healthcare field.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing key accounts with close involvement of all 10 divisions.
  • Working with c-level executives across Germany (buying groups, hospitals and clinics).
  • Develop strategic plans and creative business models.
  • Explicit perspective to progress to Director Commercial Services in few years' time.
  • Drafting tenders and the drafting complex contracts in collaboration with the company's Legal Department.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Completed degree (engineering, health management, business administration, or equivalent).
  • Strong experience with c-level executives is required - buying groups, CEO's of hospitals and clinics etc.
  • Several years of experience in health care in (leading) commercial function, preferably in the field of pharmacy or medical technology.
  • Existing network of managing directors and board members in the clinical center.
  • Expertise in the negotiation of complex contracts at C-level level.
  • Intensive experience motivation in project management combined with strategic and analytical thinking.
  • High level of empathy as well as customer and service orientation.
  • Determination, and high intrinsic motivation.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel 50%, i.a. for congresses, trade fairs, and clinic visits.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
