Senior Engineering Manager - Product

Proclinical, in support of our client, are seeking an individual to fill the role of Senior Product Engineering Manager, based in Seattle, WA. The successful individual will lead, manage and grow engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction of engineers building full stack software and scalable data pipelines.
• Oversee, coach, and support manager and Individual Contributor reports
• Resolve inter- and intra-team conflicts.
• Identify top performers and support their growth into management and/or leadership roles.
• Define, build, and embody engineering culture and principles.
• Work with recruiters to screen candidates and identify opportunities for external engagement.
• Build a team of world-class analysts and advise leadership regarding technical strategy and team organization.
• Define technical vision and strategy and ensure the technical direction of your teams aligns with other teams across the company.

Skills And Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience and 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience managing, mentoring, and coaching Engineering Managers.
• Experience building and architecting modern web applications using Go, Node.js, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
• Experience with modern front-end technology stack (React.js + Webpack, or similar).
• Experience with SOA or microservice-based architectures.
• Experience with modern deployment technologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including authentication, static analysis.
• Experience with modern C++11 development.
