Proclinical is currently advertising a position on behalf of an international contract research organisation that provides complete professional services for the clinical research and development of pharmaceutical compounds, medical devices and diagnostic tests in the areas of oncology and life-threatening diseases. This highly sought-after position advertised is for a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA), and is based in the company's Sweden office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the liaison between study sites and the project team.
  • Conducting pre-qualification, initiation, routine monitoring and close-out visits in accordance with relevant SOPs.
  • Serving as a mentor to project specific staff. Preparing and delivering staff training sessions and conducting CRA training visits.
  • Providing support to the Project Manager as required.
  • Assisting in the day to day running of assigned projects.
  • Liaising between the company's Oncology and Sponsor representatives as required, in consultation with the PM.
  • Assisting in the review of protocol, amendments and Informed Consent Forms.
  • Traveling, both nationally and internationally, to met study requirements. On average, this may be 2-3 days per week, and may involve overnight stays.

Skills and Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in a Science field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate, with a demonstrable track record in managing clinical trial sites.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in the healthcare field.
  • Experience in the Oncology field, with demonstrable understanding of oncology study end points.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other European language.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ICH-GCP.
  • Demonstrable understanding of clinical databases.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate strong decision making, problem solving skills and deadline meeting.
  • Highly organised and detailed-oriented.
  • A basic knowledge of Windows-based software programs.
