Senior Associate Scientist

Proclinical is currently seeking a Senior Associate Scientist for a biotechnology company located in Cambridge, MA. Successful candidate will be responsible for the design and execution of experiments to support the development of small and large molecule drugs for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for development, compound screening and characterization, and mechanism of action studies of biochemical and cellular assays.
• Design and perform in vitro experiments.
• Analyze results, interpret the data, and present at project meetings.

Skills and Requirements:

• MA/MS or PhD.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Need independent work in lab.
• Must be open to working with Animal tissues.
• Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of cellular biology.
• In-depth experience with all manner of cell culture.
• Experience with techniques to manipulate cell biology.
• Experience with general microscopy, immunofluorescent staining, and high content imaging.
• Experience with molecular techniques.
• General experience with biochemical techniques and technologies.
