Research Investigator, Purification Process

At Proclinical, we are seeking a talented and experienced individual to fill the role of Research Investigator, Purification Process, based in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine purification process development, optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer to internal manufacturing facility or CMOs.
• Conduct purification process characterization and validation.
• Conduct routine analyses of in-process samples using relevant product purity and process impurity analytical tools.
• Participate and present updates in routine cross-functional project meetings.
• Participate in critical review of manufacturing batch records.

Skills And Qualifications

• BS or higher in related field.
• Good knowledge of protein chemistry, bioprocessing, and cGMP.
• Good knowledge of and experience in various types of column/membrane chromatography and filtration technology for cell culture clarification, protein purification and analysis.
• Experience with protein purification process development. scale-up, and technical transfer to manufacturing.
• Experience with AKTA line of purification instruments from lab scale to pilot scale.
• Experience with UF/DF instrument for buffer exchange, product concentration, and formulation.
• Experience with depth filtration for cell culture clarification.
• Experience with analytical instruments for protein analysis such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE or SDS-CGE, ELISA, etc.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
