Proclinical, in support of our client, are seeking an individual to fill the role of Research Associate - Biology - II, based in Foster City, CA. The successful candidate will be part of the team to support upstream Mammalian Expression efforts.

Responsibilities

Construct design, cloning, mutagenesis and related molecular biology technique for generation of expression plasmids for bacterial/mammalian expression.
Prepare DNA samples in-house.
Outsource plasmid prep.
Receive and archive DNA samples.

Skills And Qualifications

Bachelor's degree minimum in Biology or Biochemistry.
Familiarity with DNAStar or Vector NTI DNA software for daily activities.
Strong background in cell and molecular biology technique.
Track record of construct generation experience.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
