Proclinical is advertising a vacancy for a Regional Technical Support Engineer (Flow Cytometry) position with a leading international medical devices company. The organisation specialises in developing and implementing clinical diagnostic and health IT products for laboratories, hospitals, and healthcare organisations. The Regional Technical Support Engineer will join this organisation in their office in Singapore. This vacancy offers an exciting opportunity to provide experience and skill whilst working with an expanding and dynamic company by working closely with the business and developing contacts.

The Regional Technical Support Engineer will primarily act as a technical product specialist for flow cytometry products for the AP region, as well as supporting local market (SG). They will function as 2nd level support for both the AP region and local market, as well as the primary trainer and manager for products of responsibility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Training within Asia Pacific offices or oversea for affiliates and business partners' support team.
  • Preparing/updating of training materials and necessary guides for products for responsibility.
  • Acting as 2nd level technical support to the AP region support team and local market.
  • Supporting the local market if needed.
  • Guiding and mentoring new engineers.
  • Acting as the key contact person for products of responsibility between Ap offices and corporate, along with OEM Vendors on technical matters for their primary products.
  • Formulating actions/ideas for the continuous improvement of affiliates and business partners' support team, skill, and knowledge.

Skills and Requirements:

  • At least a Degree or equivalent in Biomedical/Mechatronic/Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the IVC Market (Flow Cytometry).
  • Demonstrable experience in handling lab automation.
  • Up to 50% travel expected.
  • A solid understanding of project management, documenting work, and completing projects on a time-sensitive basis.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
