This Regional Key Account Manager job is an exciting opportunity to join one of the top 10 global pharmaceutical companies in their sales team. This leading Swiss pharmaceutical company are currently looking to hire a Regional Key Account Manager to be based at their site in the Netherlands. The company employ over 100,000 professionals and have operations in more than 140 countries worldwide.
For this role the ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of strategic account management and healthcare finance structures, affinity with the care / pharmaceutical industry. Based on an ambitious account plan, drafted by you in collaboration with key partners, you invest a lot of energy in your customer relationships.
This Regional Account Manager role will be joining the Market Access and Public Affairs department. The account team consists of four Regional Account Managers and a National Account Manager HIC. Within the department you will be working closely with the Market Access & Pricing Managers, Patient Advocacy Manager and Public Affairs Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Your drive is to be constantly informed of developments in the healthcare market and with your customers
- You ensure that these developments are translated into an ambitious strategic account plan
- You will be given the opportunity to come up with innovative collaboration possibilities within your accounts
- You are capable of informing Franchise / Brand teams in a timely manner and to make sure they act when necessary. You know where and when to intensify cooperation to achieve the best possible results for your customers
- You will develop and expand a relationships network with the client / senior level DMU/ managing directors
- You are first point of contact for hospital Pharmacists
- You will manage the account team to ensure that the agreed processes and (process) agreements are implemented as agreed with the customer
- Negotiating contracting agreements of the company's portfolio with hospitals to maintain patient access is a major part of the job as well as implementing the contract conditions.
Skills and Requirements:
- At least a bachelor's degree (BSc)
- A proven track record and at least five years of experience in a (strategic) account management role
- Excellent networking abilities: you are connecting with customers and colleagues
- Experience in negotiating
- Experienced in consultative selling skills, able to connect with senior management in organizations
- An entrepreneurial attitude: you have a result-driven personality, take initiative and responsibility
- You have a healthy dose of persuasiveness, persistence, excellent communication skills and are a good listener
