RA.TR.Prinipal Consultant

Proclinical is recruiting for a Principal Consultant on behalf of a leading multinational contract research organisation who specialise in biopharmaceutical services. This innovative company is looking for a candidate to join their team in their European branches.

Job Responsibilities:

• Executing the company's consulting models and methodologies.
• Providing a full range of consulting services to clients, working within their personal area of expertise.
• Mentoring and guiding junior team members on technical and business related issues.
• Supporting knowledge-centred activities within the team.
• Driving medical device approvals (CE marking).
• Implementing clinical development strategies for medical devices, along with assessing conformance to international standards.
• Collaborating with clients in order to develop medical devices, along with countering any issues that arise during this process.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Scientific or Technical Discipline. A PhD or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Specialised expertise in the regulation and clinical development of medical devices in European markets.
• Experience with driving medical device approvals. This includes specialised knowledge of design validation and verification procedures for medical devices.
• Experience with clinical development strategies and knowledge of international standards.
• A demonstrable working knowledge of all phases in medical device product development; this includes early design, risk analysis, product verification and validation, etc.
• Recognised technical subject-matter expertise in a specific medical device field (eg, in vitro diagnostics).
• Established experience in leading teams and collaborating with sponsors/clients in resolving challenges in medical device product development.
