Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a company that specialises in fast-moving fields, like software development and robotics. The Quality Engineer position incumbent will join the company's team in Switzerland and be responsible for the successful implementation of projects and management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implementing projects and management of activities to define, design, develop and deliver new processes, quality improvements and change initiatives.
- Executing process, equipment, tooling, and test method validations on new and existing processes/equipment.
- Applying knowledge of process control tools, statistical sampling, and other analytical techniques to maximise the quality and flow of product through the production line.
- Defining test strategies and guiding project teams on design controls.
- Leading and facilitating risk assessments for process and production development/improvement.
Skills and Requirements:
- At least a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Physical Sciences, with a strong preference for incumbents with a Master's Degree in an engineering discipline.
- Electrical Engineering or related experience and/or training strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry preferred.
- Medical Device industry experience (FDA and ISO 13485) preferred.
- Six Sigma Certification, either Green or Black, is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with developing and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of statistical analysis software, e.g., Minitab.
- A strong understanding of risk evaluation and risk management for processes and product.
- High-level of insight into statistical analysis of processes, including statistical process control.
- Experience with quality systems and software validation a bonus.
- Experience supporting 3rd party inspections and audits preferred.
- An understanding of ISO 14971
