Proclinical, in support of a pharma company, is seeking an individual to fill the role of QC Scientist 1, based in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine microbiological testing of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products and environmental samples.
Coordinate and participate in site projects and keep immediate supervisor informed of all aspects of projects and assignments.
Provide technical support and leadership as pertains to Perform microbiological testing; verify that results are accurate and complete, recognizing deviations in test procedures, and/or SOPs.
Appropriately document QC data ad investigations.
Use technical expertise and skills to independently solve problems, including method and instrument troubleshooting.
Demonstrate proficiency on most test methods within QC Microbiology.

Skills And Qualifications

BSc in a relevant field or equivalent experience and previous specialization in Microbiology/Biology or a related science.
Experience in providing QC testing support to at least one value stream.

Knowledge of GMP principles in a laboratory environment.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
