QC Chemist II

Proclinical is currently seeking a QC Chemist for a biotechnology company located in San Dimas, CA. Successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing data and results of testing to ensure compliance to appropriate specifications and protocols. This is a 6-months contract position with strong possibility to extend or convert.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct procedure updates in QC lab and GMP reviews of logbooks.
• Coordinate waste management, LEAN and 5S efforts as required.
• Test raw materials, intermediate and finished product samples according to written procedures.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation/test methods. Assist in the training of QC staff as needed.

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum BS in Chemistry, Biology, or scientific related field.
• 1-5 years' Experience required.
• Experience within in a GMP environment.
