Proclinical is excited to announce that an opening for a Project Manager position has emerged at an internationally renowned pharmaceutical company, that covers a range of industries across the pharmaceutical worlds. This respected company is seeking a hard working and talented individual to be recruited to their team in Switzerland on a contract basis. This is a 1-year assignment with a possible extension of a year.

The successful Project Manager will be involved in a large surge of software upgrade/remediation activity, involving 21 laboratories across the EMEA region. Crucially, they will be responsible for project scheduling in the kick off phase of the project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and facilitating interactive planning and scheduling review sessions with the 21 laboratory sites.
  • Producing project schedules based on the input of the 21 laboratory sites, focusing on the available resources, the availability of the instruments, and other interdependencies.
  • Publishing variance reports and scheduling showing where they compare planned results versus the actual results.
  • Analysing and publishing critical path activities.
  • Publishing daily and weekly look ahead schedules.
  • Routinely progressing updates with all stakeholders.
  • Integrating a variety of schedules and information from Microsoft Project.
  • Resourcing a load schedule by all disciplines.
  • Managing the overall project in the EMEA region after the project kick-off.
  • Managing the leveraging activities to reduce the workload and cost.
  • A low level of travelling in the EMEA region.

Skills and Requirements:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience with general project planning, control, and managing experience.
  • Advanced skill level in MS Project/Primavera P6.
  • Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements.
  • Excellent English written and oral skills.
