ProClinical is partnering with a leading management consulting firm to advertise a vacancy for a Production Planner position. The Production Planner will prepare, issue, and control production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials times to meet production requirements. They will also identify raw material and component requirements for production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participating in production planning and scheduling.
  • Identifying raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules.
  • Preparing lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Preparing purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment, entering all requirements into the computer and so on.
  • Maintaining and updating planning modules or production planning system with current lead times and relative information.
  • Interfacing with various groups including customers, sales offices, Corporate, and plant production departments and monitoring orders from start to finish to ensure on time delivery of products.
  • Following up on feedback of capacity loads and manufacturing constraints.
  • Identifying and corrects production issues due to capacity and new product launches.
  • Expediting and securing parts needed for production by the time they are scheduled for production.
  • Collecting data to prepare reports for the manager on production planning.
  • Participating in meetings discussing production schedules for new products.

To Apply:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher, or equivalent amount of combined educational and work experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office, Concur, and Visio.
