Product Specialist IVD

This position is suitable for you if you have a strong scientific and technical background, with a passion for diagnostics. We develop products and systems that help our clients diagnose patients diseases and create effective treatment plans for unmet medical needs. To succeed in this we partner with laboratories in hospitals, clinics, universities and government facilities.

When you start in this role you will be engaged in a thorough training program that will turn you into a true Subject Matter Expert on diagnostics equipment. You will then be able to partner with our clients and make sure they understand all the ins and outs of our products and services. You will provide them with trainings, in the lab, and in our office, and you will work closely with our account managers in pre-sales engagement. Our Product Specialist are absolutely invaluable to the success of our business, and without them we cannot offer the service our clients are so satisfied with. You will both travel, as work from home and from the office in this job. It is therefore important that you are flexible and don't mind driving and visiting all kinds of different organisations.

Skills and Requirements:

• You are a Belgian citizen, or Dutch citizen living in Belgium.
• You have a life sciences degree (HBO or BSc - MSc is beneficial but certainly not necessary). Ideal background is biochemistry or biomedical science.
• You have experience with Protein electrophoresis, chromatography, immunotyping, clinical chemistry and photometrics.
• Your Dutch and English is fluent. French is a big plus and will be preferred.
• It is important you enjoy working in a team, and that colleagues can rely on you.
• You enjoy giving presentations and are an engaging speaker.
• You have business acumen and a commercial focus.
• You are organised, can create structure for yourself and can work independently.
• You like taking initiatives and enjoy sharing ideas with a team.
• You are flexible to travel in the Benelux region.
