A privately held biotechnology company is advertising a vacancy for a Process Science AB lead, based in their office in Switzerland. The organisation designs, discovers, and develops therapeutic as well as diagnostic products intended to prevent and modify diseases caused by misfolding proteins. The company's two proprietary technology platforms create antibodies, small molecules and vaccines designed to address a broad spectrum of neurodegenerative indications. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading pharmaceutical organization and support their Scientific operations to create new, viable treatments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the introduction of scientifically/quality driven approaches, such as QbD or DoE (Design of Experiments).
  • Ensuring product supply from the Research grade materials to the Tox batches.
  • Interacting directly with the selected CMO for planning and tasks execution.
  • Ensuring transition of Research manufacturing processes into Development.
  • Establishing solid scientific approach in the development of DS manufacturing processes.
  • Defining USP and DSP process development roadmap in collaboration with the CMO.
  • Developing suitable and scalable DS manufacturing process(es).
  • Identifying and managing allocated budget and resources requirements.
  • Overseeing the production and supply of Research grade material.
  • Overseeing the production and supply of Tox material.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
