An international pharmaceutical company is recruiting a Medical Review Advisor HCV / SPD to join their office in Maidenhead. This organisation specialises in developing new approaches to address contemporary health issues, from life-threatening illnesses to chronic conditions. The Medical Review Advisor will act as the Final Signatory for the UK Affiliate in line with PMCPA Code of Practice. They will support the delivery of compliant promotional and non-promotional materials for the Speciality Division of UK Affiliate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing brand support for the preparation and final signatory approval of promotional and non-promotional material and activities- covering Neonatology, Neurology, and HCV.
- Supporting the continued implementation of a Code Compliant system for all promotional and non-promotional activities throughout the company and the marketplace, ensuring the company is in line with the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) standards, the MHRA blue guide for advertising and promotion, and all applicable international Codes of Practice (EFPIA, IFPMA, and respective National Codes and National Regulatory Bodies) at all times.
- Provision of workable compliant solutions to support business development opportunities/product launches and contributing to the development of marketing campaigns
- Providing timely, accurate review and approval of materials in accordance with the relevant Codes of Practice.
- Providing Guidance to overseas affiliates and UK Affiliate as and when required.
- Actively participating in cross-functional Medical Review Projects to build Medical Review standard practices and solutions for the business needs.
- Adhering to the PMCPA Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry in all aspects of work.
- Adhering to medical division SOPs, BOPs, and Guidelines.
- Accountable directly to the Head of Medical Affairs SPD.
- Providing compliant solutions to meet business needs.
- Complying with the company's policies and procedures to meet statutory, quality, and business requirements within the overall strategy and objectives of the company.
Skills and Requirements:
- Pharmacy degree essential
- Experience in understanding, analysing and communicating complex pharmacy, pharmacology, and medical issues relating to a range of different therapeutic areas.
- The ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured environment.
- The capacity to identify problems quickly and overcome them.
- The ability to consistently pay attention to detail.
- Experienced Final Medical Signatory essential.
- Higher professional qualification in a scientific or business discipline desirable.
- Experience of multiple- brand team working.
- Demonstrable project management skills.
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
