Medical Group Copy Supervisor

Proclinical, in support of our client, are seeking an individual to fill the role of Medical Group Copy Supervisor, based New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to the Associate Creative Director of Copy, and will develop a strong partnership not only with creative team members, but also with other related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Act as creative lead on the book of business for a brand or brands handled by the copy team.
• Supervise all promotional copy, concepts, and campaigns across assigned brands.
• Partner with Medical to maintain the highest level of scientific accuracy in development of promotional work.
• Partner with Strategy and Account on project deliverables and objectives.
• Craft superior promotional copy, including messages, concepts, and campaigns.
• Support cross-department conceptual efforts.
• Reinforce standards for creative excellence across the department.
• Act as a key client creative contact for the team.
• Contribute to team strategic and tactical planning.
• Partner with Studio, Digital, and Presentation to help establish and maintain the highest possible standards of execution for all materials across media.
• Direct and guide the creative ideation and execution of subordinates, providing regular feedback and encouraging professional development.
• Responsible for team utilization.
• Oversee team workflow and alert others when issues arise.

Skills And Qualifications

• 6+ years in healthcare communications, ideally with a history of launch experience (including accelerated approval launches).
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong focus on copywriting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative suite.
