Proclinical is working with a clinical research focussed laboratory that is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to be based in Europe on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Operations & Marketing, as a Marketing and Communication Associate, you are responsible for coordinating the communications output within the company. This position assists the HO BO & M in playing a key role for the organization's reputation both with its employees and the industry.
Job Responsibilties:
- Assist in the analysis of current marketing efforts to build short and long-term strategies;
- Implement best practices as well as new procedures to meet brand marketing, PR goals and other marketing objectives
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for SEO and user experience
- Ensure oversight of all channels of content including online, social media, email
- Manage editorial calendar, execute tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- Identify reactive, relevant content topics for ad hoc output
- Execute social sharing of content through current company channels as well as exploring additional spaces ensuring strong web presence
- Monitor social listening to receive audience feedback, generate ideas to increase engagement, and activate business development opportunities
- Design and launch marketing campaigns
- Work with manager and the Business Development Team to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget.
- Develop, implement and maintain communication forums across the company
- Share information on changes, projects, objectives and priorities;
- Facilitate the exchange of information and ideas
- Standardize corporate communication documents and channels.
- Deliver engaging content on a regular basis and inspire team members including internal communication of content marketing assets to the BD team
- Edit, proofread and improve content provided by the internal business teams
- Create content in different forms of press releases, brochures, fact sheets, case studies, white papers, newsletters, appeals, etc
- Develop fresh story ideas.
- Work closely together with the Business Development, the Commercial teams and the business and transform business content into brand voiced, long form, high quality content.
Skills and Requirements:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Marketing, communications or related field, MA is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar relevant role
- Strong interest or experience in understanding and writing scientific content
- Fluent in English
- Proven work experience as Content marketing associate
- proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Adobe Creative and Website platforms
- Strong knowledge of web analytics tools and reports
- Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus
- Expertise in Social media platforms
- Knowledge of a Sales CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation software is a plus
- Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
- Project management skills
- Must be organized with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with respect to deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication, writing and editing skills in English
- Ability to work well independently as well as be a valuable team player
