Proclinical is seeking a Manager/Senior Scientist to be based in Nyon, Switzerland on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilties:

Operate a mass spectrometry facility in the area of biosimilars development
Be responsible for all aspects of method development, method qualification, sample preparation, chromatography, data acquisition, data analysis, and data interpretation
Involve in mass spectrometer maintenance, method improvements, providing project support, effectively communicating project progress, writing and updating of operating procedures as well as authoring of analytical reports
Contribute to the planning of experiments and delivery of results according to budget and project timelines

Skills and Requirements:

Advanced degree in analytical biochemistry or equivalent field of study
Several years' relevant work experience in mass spectrometry in the pharma or biotech industry
Strong background in protein/mAb analytics
Experience with experimental approaches such amino acid sequence determination, intact mass analysis, and mapping and quantification of post-translational modifications are preferred
Knowledge of automation and liquid handling would be a plus
Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail, in a highly organized manner
Team worker and ability to maintain a highly motivating working atmosphere
Good communication skills, both oral and written
Proactive, flexible, open-minded, willing-to-learn and sharing attitude
Fluency in English; French or German would be assets
